Aisha Caan

The Big Bang Egg

Aisha Caan is a London-based artist who expresses her thoughts and experiences through paint. Influenced by religion and science, her work is centred on the creation of the universe and its Creator, who she refers to as the ‘Sublime'. She is concerned about the divisions man creates for himself, and through her work tries to reconcile these divisions by uniting the disciplines of faith and science in the form of contemporary spiritual art. It is this spirituality that has made her appreciate the genesis of things, the creation of the universe, the purpose of life and our existence on this planet.
