You can help break a Guinness World Record!
The Big Egg Hunt is going to be big – the clue’s in the name – but we don’t just want it to be big, we want it to be staggeringly, awe-inspiringly, mind-bendingly huge. This is why we’re aiming to break the Guinness World Record title for the most participants in an Egg hunt!
To achieve this we’re going to need some help – your help! Every time you find one of The Big Egg Hunt eggs and text to enter The Diamond Jubilee Egg Competition, you’ll not only be in the running for a fantastic prize, but you’ll be helping to break a Guinness World Record title!
So come on Londoners, gather your friends and family and get cracking – let’s make this the biggest egg hunt of all time!
The world’s most expensive chocolate egg!
Not content with breaking one Guinness World Record, we want to break two!
Award-winning chocolatier William Curley has created a beautiful chocolate egg that’s as huge as it is tasty. This two and a half foot chocolate behemoth will be on display at Fortnum & Mason during The Big Egg Hunt, and on 20th March will be sold at auction – we’re hoping it will break the record for the most expensive chocolate egg ever sold! See it in all its chocolately glory in Egg Zone 6.
Eggs Fabergé – the perfect dish to accompany The Big Egg Hunt
Eggs Fabergé – the perfect dish to accompany The Big Egg Hunt
We’ve got scrambled together with renowned food writer and broadcaster Tom Parker Bowles to get 12 of London’s top restaurants to serve up something eggstra special during The Big Egg Hunt. So prepare to have your tastebudstaste buds tantalised, as we proudly introduce Eggs Fabergé.
The idea behind Eggs Fabergé is simple: we’ve challenged each of these restaurants to come up with their own unique Eggs Fabergé creation – a delicious egg dish which pays homage to the iconic style and craftsmanship of Fabergé. 50% proceeds from these eggsciting dishes will go to the charities Elephant Family and Action for Children.
