Anna Barlow is fascinated by the culture of celebrational food and of how food tells a story of the people it’s for and place it’s in. A full stand of melting ice creams could suggest a hot day or treats abandoned for some mysterious reason.
Anna’s work is the result of long research into techniques, texture and glaze. Her methods are a combination of hand-building, slip-casting and press moulding and she uses both porcelain and earthenware.
