Ed Saye is a painter who lives and works in London. His paintings explore the territory between reality and illusion, between abstraction and representation. Drawing inspiration from the history of painting and in particular from twentieth-century abstract painting, his pieces are of grids of geometric forms that hover in indeterminate spaces, alluding to a potential landscape or narrative. He received his MFA in painting from the Slade School of Fine Art in 2009 and has since exhibited at Museum 52, Rod Barton Gallery and The Other Art Fair. His work is held in international private collections.
