Claire Jackson is from South Yorkshire, and is a Loughborough University graduate of Fine Art. She has captured gallery visitors’ imaginations and won awards with her unique sculptures and art style. Claire creates organic and biomorphic abstract works, inspired by science and nature, using a low temperature reactive smart plastic (Polycaprolactone), which she crafts into intricate, flowing, surreal forms. Her works have a recognisable, signature style, and are informed by her intuition for hand crafting aesthetic forms. The medium’s beneficial and unusual properties allow Claire to create a range of art pieces that give the illusion of fragility and delicacy.
