Central Saint Martin’s graduate Josh Stika fuses his love of graffiti and his appreciation of traditional typography. After gaining his place at St. Martin’s Joshua has worked predominantly as a commercial artist within the advertising industry, utilizing his innate ability to produce large scale pieces. He recently fused tradition and modernity within his solo exhibition ‘Stick-a Rock’, a clever use of both print over-lays and strategic paper incisions creating stunning 3D posters. All of which clearly demonstrate an inherent skill, craftsmanship and an fantastic use of colour.
