The Big Egg Hunt has been big – staggeringly, awe-inspiringly, mind-bendingly huge. With thanks to 12,773 Egg Hunters, we have broken the Guinness World Records title for the Most entrants in an egg hunt competition!
All the text messages entered into The Big Egg Hunt counted towards our Guinness World Records official record-breaking event! Thanks to all our eggy participants for being part of history!

The world’s most expensive chocolate egg!
Award-winning chocolatier William Curley has created a beautiful chocolate egg that’s as huge as it is tasty – so huge and glorious that it sold for a massive £7,000 at live auction.
This two and a half foot chocolate behemoth has also broken the Guinness World Records title for the Most expensive chocolate egg! We hope you got the chance to see it in all it’s chocolately glory at Fortnum & Mason during The Big Egg Hunt.
The Artists Party
To thank all our egg-tastic artists, the Big Egg team celebrated our colourful creators with The Artists Party!
Donning our 1920’s glad-rags we danced the night away with The Noble Experiment. Hosted by Lounge Lover and organised by The Art Party, we had live music from The Correspondants, The London Dixie Land Jazz Band and Crashrino. A Big Egg party with some Big Egg love!

Eggs Fabergé – the perfect dish to accompany The Big Egg Hunt
We scrambled together with renowned food writer and broadcaster Tom Parker Bowles to get 12 of London’s top restaurants to serve up something eggstra special during The Big Egg Hunt – Eggs Fabergé!
The idea behind Eggs Fabergé is simple: we challenged each of the restaurants to come up with their own unique Eggs Fabergé creation – a delicious egg dish paying homage to the iconic style and craftsmanship of Fabergé.
50% proceeds from these eggsciting dishes went to the charities Elephant Family and Action for Children.
